The North Texas Cricket Association (NTCA) is an affiliate of the United States of America Cricket Association (USACA) which in turn is an affilaite of the ICC, the world body governing Cricket.
The NTCA organizes and manages competitiive Cricket in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolis. In this region it is the sole cricketing body. NTCA's competitive structure is divided into four divisions, namely the Premier, A, B and C. Our typical calendar of competitive activites starts in March of each year starting with the main event i.e. the Primary Leagues and concludes with the Winter league which rolls into the following year. Additionally there is a major Twenty20 competition which starts in September. The Twenty20 is a commercially sponsored event and carries cash prizes for teams as well as individuals.
The primary leagues and the Twenty20 are intervened by a shortened Summer League.
The NTCA has forty teams and over a thousand active players. The association is governed by an executive committee which is elected every two years.
